Pantheon Low Tide Bamboo Cruiser Complete

The Lowtide is a flexible kicktailed cruiser. Soft enough in the middle for comfort while pushing, with a stiff enough tail for pop tricks. Small micro drops in the body that are non intrusive but solid foot reference points. This deck is designed for TKP trucks, so we offer the LowTide Cruiser complete with our 149mm Stylus trucks and 66mm Sliders wheels. We’ll include the wedged risers on us. The wheel wells on this deck are designed for this specific setup and they’re nice and deep, so you’re going to get a lot of wheel clearance on this deck set up the way we build it.

Think of the LowTide vs the Fantail in a similar way to how one might compare a Pranayama to the Trip. You’re going to set the Lowtide up one specific way, and in a way, that makes the deck a little more restrictive when it comes to setups, but on the other hand, the deck is absolute perfection just as it is, and you wouldn’t want to change it. The Trip is more versatile with setup, and because you can put RKPs on it (as you can with the Fantail), it can be set up to be more stable at higher speeds. This is definitely an advantage for some people, but for most people, they’re going to enjoy the excitement that the TKP-setup brings, because it is more flowy and has a nice, loose center that many will find more thrilling, up to a point. The increased flex on the LowTide does make it less stable at higher speeds, but you’re going to really enjoy the carve, lower speed slides and speed checks, and the flow at the speeds that most people are going to ride a cruiser at. And of course, you can always reverse that rear wedged riser to deaden up the back end and make it a bit more stable at higher speeds. Don’t sleep on this deck. It is as good as it gets for this type of board. Exactly what you’ve come to expect from Pantheon.
