Positioned perfectly between the Rising Sun and a full high-performance shortboard, the Synthetic 84 fills the gap many surfers have been searching for. It features a fuller outline, flat deck, and beak nose for added volume, while the down rails and bump squash or bump round tail options keep it agile and responsive in critical sections. A low rocker and subtle bottom contours—flat to single, then slight double to vee off the tail—make for smooth acceleration, fast transitions, and reliable control.
